We decided to have a slow start. The weather was overcast all day. I made Ugandan Rolex for brunch and we went out for an afternoon drive. The bush around Punda Maria is beautiful and it's much greener than further South. There are too many elephants and lots of buffalo. We have seen a leopard in a tree, a lion quite far away and hyenas running off into the bush. The overcast weather is not conducive to bird watching but we did see an Eastern Nicator to add to our list which now stands at 255.
