Oktoberfest Maizefield

Back in SA, we rushed straight to the farm for more Oktoberfest celebrations.

Friends Friends Friends

After leaving Munich, we spent a few weeks in the UK. It was so good to catch up with so many friends and we just ran out of time to see everyone and do everything. Next time we will have to stay for longer!

Homer and friends

We were joined by John and Heather and also Mylene, Coenraad and Coemy in another camper in Berlin. What a great city, with a mix of old and new architecture that works and so much history. John, Heather and Mylene ran the marathon in the pouring rain!! After a few days in Prague, we all headed to Munich for yet another crazy 5 days of Oktoberfest!

A Rainy September

From Norway, we travelled south through Sweden and Denmark again and back into Northern Germany. We enjoyed the cities such as Gothenberg, Aarhus and Hamburg but the Northern European weather is horrible.

More Norway

From Nordkap, the most northerly part of Continental Europe via Trondheim, Geiranger,Bergen and all the way to Oslo; Norway is really beautiful and so unspoilt.
Oslo is a fun capital city with good pubs and restaurants. We loved the special exhibition of the South African laureats at the Nobel Peace Museum.
