Farm Fun

Back in SA we have spent time in Joburg, at Zebula and at Maizefield. Neil renovated our bar at the farm and we had a good roof wetting party. We are always busy and between the socialising, we catch up on admin, chores, maintenance and trip planning.
Nick and Sue visited Maizefield in their helicopter and Max got some good photos of the farm from the air!

Bali

We spent two weeks in Bali. At first, a few days in Legian at the Oc-en Outrigger with the Eves. We did a lot of shopping with Madeleine and enjoyed some great restaurants. We then headed up to Ubud to meet Tommy and Mandy. We stayed at the Honeymoon Guest House, which has gorgeous gardens and traditional Balinese style rooms. Of course, we love the Spa treatments in Ubud; couples massages, with body wraps of yogurt and spices as if you are a marinating tandoori chicken, followed by a leisurely soak in a bath full of flower petals.
We drove north to Pembertan to dive at the Menjangan National Park and then back to Ubud via Sundra and the rice paddies.

Phuket Again

We spent five days in Singapore, shopping, eating and catching up with friends. Then we went to Phuket for three weeks. Nanai Road, Patong Beach felt like home and we settled into our routine. Breakfast, beach, lunch, beach, massage, sunset cocktails, dinner, drinks and live music, bed. Tracey was with us for 2 weeks and we did an overnight trip to Racha Island again. Getting around the island is so easy and cheap on scooters. Our two favourite beaches are Paradise and Laem Sing. We had perfect weather, with no rain at all! This has to be one of the best and most affordable places for a beach holiday anywhere in the world. So next year just make sure you come along!
