Seven nights in Venice are not enough. This is a city I love. This is a city we are going to come and live in for two months one day.
This is a city people say is too full of tourists. But it's also a city where it's so easy to avoid the crowds. (Go to San Marco once, briefly to take a photo or two in the evening and then stay away.)

Camping Serrinissima is once again our home base.
Our favourite thing to do in Venice is to stroll from bar to bar drinking wine and eating chichetti -Venetian tapas. Or getting Gelato.
We rode the Vaporetto (water bus) to Murano two days in a row because Tracey loved La Perla ( best kept secret restaurant ) so much.
We love the local neighbourhoods like Carareggio and discovered a lot of new restaurants and wine bars.
Heading back we did a night in Bolzano and a weekend in Munich before the trip back to Johannesburg via London on 3rd September.
