Kruger National Park: Lockdown Day 123 - Monday 27 July

5am start for a day in Kruger. An excellent early sighting of two male lion walking on the Orpen road.
And a tame Cardinal Woodpecker at Satara Camp. Everything is so quiet and forlorn in Kruger. Thokwane picnic site is closed. Orpen Dam was very quiet.
But Mugg and Bean at Lower Sabie had good coffee.
Later in the afternoon we came across a hyena, vultures in a tree and a couple of jackals pulling scraps of meat off a buffalo femur. We scoured the area for the kill and the lions without success.
