Lockdown Day 129 - Sunday 2 August

Here's a message I put on a What's App group to wish Mandy and Tommy a happy move. 

"So exciting! Enjoy!  

I would love to be waiting at my new house for the furniture van to arrive right now. Excitement unpacking and decorating. Reminds me of my old, old life as an expat. Falling in bed knackered. Boxes everywhere. Enjoy it Mandy!"

And then this one...

"The anticipation of a whole new set of experiences... Same feeling everytime I get on a plane... Now all I have to look forward to is making a new recipe...ha! ha! Off to try my hand at Bao Buns and pulled pork..."

And then this...

"Be careful what you wish for.. My Covid 19 mantra. Just when I said I wished I could move, we have moved lock, stock and barrel from Hippo Lodge to Croc Lodge for 6 days to accommodate guests who need 4 bedrooms.😆"

We are enjoying being in a different space and seeing a different view. 

And we have a different braai area...
