Lockdown Day 131 - Tuesday 4 August

The weather is just lovely. Sometimes it seems like the warthogs and bushbuck hang around the house just for company.  The monkeys on the other hand are just after food. And they are relentless.

The ellies visited again after a few days away. Five in all. We saw the Greater Bushbaby in the sausage tree about 9pm.

I made naan bread and it was so good we ( mostly Neil ) ate the whole batch. I tried two versions -plain and Peshwari ( filled with  dried fruit, nuts and coconut.) We enjoyed the naan with Durban Lamb Curry and the rice went untouched.

If you know me - the way I like to cook is by doing and I only use the recipe as a guideline. I love making my curry because I don't need a recipe at all anymore. But baking is a little more tricky when it comes to ingredients and measuring and I think that with all this practise I am beginning to get the "feel" of baking with yeast.
