Lockdown Day 133 - Thursday 6 August

Life goes on. We have decided we need to get out more often; there are lots of places to see and plenty of restaurants open for lunch.
Neil has a new toy. A travel expresso maker. Very trendy looking and it makes awesome coffee. He studied a Barista course online a few months ago.
We have been enjoying good coffee beans from Hoedspruit Coffee Purveyors but we have just upped the ante with an online order from Cape Coffee for specific African varietals processed the natural way - fermented with the fruit still on the bean.
Today's culinary creations included-
-Chatawari, a Nepalese rice flour crepe covered with curried lamb mince, onion, tomato, peppers, egg, chilli and cheese.
It's more pizza than crepe and there are many versions in Nepal. In February Neil and I were in Nepal. In Bhaktaphur our guide took us to a rooftop restaurant for chatawari. It was a breakfast version, a little more omletty than usual.
-Pear Tart Tatin- A French Pastry. It's pretty good even though I say so myself.
