Kruger National Park, Pafuri : Lockdown Day 162 - Friday 4 September

After breakfast we headed North towards Punda Maria. We were delayed by a massive herd of buffalo in the road. We saw plenty of elephants wherever we went. The only place we can get a phone or data signal is at Punda Maria where we stopped for lunch.
At Crook's Corner we stood and looked out across the Limpopo River to Zimbabwe and Mozambique. That's the closest we've been to leaving South Africa in almost 6 months! I haven't stayed in one country this long for over 20 years! We have checked into The Doctor's House at Pafuri Border Camp for 2 nights. It's a lovely spot with lots of birding opportunities and very few other tourists about.
