We really have been dodging winter the last few years, so hanging around in SA until mid-July was a bit of a novelty. In May, Neil did a bike trip with Tommy and Coenraad and we had time in Joburg to catch up on all our chores, like getting vehicles serviced and fixed, applying for visas and going to doctors and dentists! There was enough time for catching up with friends and family, including a fun night at Madam Zingara. This was in between trips to Dullstroom for fishing, Namibia and Botswana on safari, a trip to the Eastern Cape and the Grahamstown Festival and a Midmas weekend at Maizefield Farm. It was great to have all the Maizefield owners together for a party as well as some of the regulars and some Midmas newbies too. Pam said she thought the food was the best Midmas spread ever and a few revellers ( you know who you are ) will be glad to know some photos are staying safely out of the public domain! Ditto the morning after pics!
