Easter Sunday. A perfect lowveld day with a high of 36°c.
The gravity of the effect of this pandemic hit us today. Never before in human history has the world come to a standstill like this. Never. Our reality has been shaken to the core. What's app chats, home cooking and jigsaw puzzles are fun for a while but it's becoming clearer that this virus and it's effects are going to be with us way beyond April. The economic implications, especially for poorer and developing countries frighten me.

But life goes on. We are fortunate beyond measure. I cooked roast lamb for Easter dinner. We drank superb wine. We chatted with family and friends.
And there's the last of the "Easter over the Years" series.
