Lockdown Day 33 - Tuesday 28 April

Another rainy, overcast day at Ximongwe, means most of  the animals and birds tend to shelter and hide. Not the bushbuck; they seem to spend more time in the open during cloudy weather.
Tommy organised drinks after work. Oh, for the days of pushing through the crowds to get to the bar and yell your order over the blaring sports channels on multiple TVs.  On the plus side, you can attend from anywhere and stay in your pajamas.
Neil's becoming a little obsessed with reading recipes and dreaming of fine dining, burger joints and cuisines of the world. We haven't been to a restaurant for 6 weeks! That's a crazy, unbelievable statistic for us! It took a week for the avos to ripen. Smashed avo toast for brunch and gnocchi with an avo side salad for dinner. Not exotic but delicious.
