We saw our first Nyala in the garden.
Everyday, we love watching the Brown Hooded Kingfishers hunting from the tree by our balcony. Their diet is mainly insects, not fish. Southern Africa has 10 species of kingfisher, from the tiny Pygmy Kingfisher to the Giant Kingfisher.
A pride of 14 lions killed a waterbuck on a property just downstream from here in the early hours of the morning. We hoped they'd head this way but we didn't see them.
