Lockdown Day 107 - Saturday 11 July

Cooking and blogging and banking and following up on travel refunds and cancellations and reading and writing and lot's of Whatsapp chatting.
My life in the bush is so much easier than for anyone living in the city. Any city. I am so fortunate.
The epicentre of the Covid 19 pandemic in South Africa is now Gauteng.
It's not easy to lockdown and social distance in a township or squatter camp. Gauteng especially, has a high population density. And it's winter. And the hospitals are overwhelmed. And the economy is in tatters.
Neil is enjoying his new Weber gas braai which was delivered by Take-a-Lot all the way to the Balule Game Reserve gate. He's even has a canvas bag made for it, so it won't dirty the back of the new Cruiser. "This is what we call a steak in Limpopo." His What's App post about last night's braai.
And just for fun, I made "Bounty Bars" from scratch.
