10 Days in London

Saturday 4 December to Tuesday 14 December 2021
I found a great Air BnB in Lower Marsh Street, just behind Waterloo Station. For Stephen and Vivienne it was an easy walk to many of London's tourist sites and we got to know a different part of London. The area was a bit edgy and we were fascinated by the graffiti tunnel just outside our apartment. The artists work through the night, so every day some of the works have changed. Not wanting to use the Tube due to Covid we found our way around on buses using a handy trip planning app. Not being pressed for time, we enjoyed the views of the city from the double deckers.
London is known for it's Christmas decorations.
Fortnum and Mason window displays.
We caught up with friends. ( the best part of any trip)
We ate amazing food at some great restaurants and pubs.
Even enjoyed a pukka High Tea at the Beaumont Hotel.
We saw some great art.
We loved the Wallace Collection.
And the Van Gogh Experience.
We enjoyed great views from the Sky Garden.
London in winter.... not too bad after all!
